Weʼre raising £500 to help fund a Defibrillator in my local area and also to donate to Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
On 9 September 2018 I am cycling 100 miles by doing "The Big Belter" from Glasgow toEdinburgh. Then on 16 September 2018 I will be walking 26 miles doing "The Kilt Walk" in Edinburgh.
I am raising money to help support the amazing work of Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK and also to help fund a Defibrillator in my local area. As many people who are close to me know I was lucky to survive 3 cardiac arrests in May 2016. Hence my reasons for raising this money.
I was able to survive as I was given CPR and also received a shock from a Defib. So giving others a chance to survive by having access to a Defib is extremely important to me.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK are an online organisation who offer support, information and guidance to cardiac arrest survivors, their family and friends. They have been an amazing support to me since 2016 and they have helped me through some difficult times along with gaining understanding of what happened but have also enabled me to have a laugh again. I would like to donate to them to enable them to continue their amazing work.
Both Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK and a Defibrillator are causing very close to my heart.
