Story

Back in August of last year work colleague, Mark Thompson was diagnosed with a Stage3 Cancerous Brain Tumour. Mark has undergone both Radiation and Chemotherapy and whilst his cancer is not curable, it is treatable.

Mark is currently undergoing Immunotherapy which, unfortunately, is not currently available in the UK and it does not have NHS funding. To help Mark pay for this treatment in Germany, his family, friends and colleagues are all fund raising to make sure Mark gets the treatment he needs.

Weather permitting and at some point in July or August, Alex and Martyn have put themselves forward for an enduring bike ride. They will leave from our offices in Chichester and cycle non stop to our offices in Stratford. This 130 miles will take them approximately 12 hours.

I am reliably informed the last 30 miles is the bit they are both worried about. Not only would they have cycled the best part of 100 miles, but they will have the South Downs to contend with before they finish.

This is a huge challenge for them, both have a busy schedule and they do not get 5 minutes to themselves; I doubt training for this will be top of their list! We do hope you will join us in supporting them in their quest to raise funds for this worthy cause which is very close to all our hearts.

Every penny counts and we would love your help and support, no matter how big or small.

Thank you very much for taking time out to read this

Any funds raised and not used for the treatment will be used as a fund for Mark’s children.
