As some, but not all of you are aware, my beautiful Mum, Tina Hopkins, was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's a few years ago, she recently turned 54.

Through this awful time she and our family have been supported by the Alzheimer's Society. Now, some wonderful friends and local entertainers, Lewis, David and Dazzy, have kindly decided to organise a 24 hour singathon to support this wonderful charity and my family personally.

This heartbreaking disease takes your loved one from you whilst they are still there and is something we would not wish upon anyone. To support such a cause and have wonderful friends doing this to support us means the world. We never expected to be going through such a thing at such a young age.

The singathon intends to split any money raised between the charity itself and my family personally as we go through this terrible journey.
