After running 5k a day in May I am now setting myself the challenge of completing The Jersey Tri in July! I will swim 750m, cycle 20km and run 5km to complete the Jersey Sprint Virtual Triathlon.

I began by settting myself the challenge to run 5k every day in May to raise money for Jersey Crital Care Survivors. It may not sound like a lot to a lot of people but it will be mentally and physically for me.

Jersey Critical Care Survivors is a new charity made up of nurses in Intensive Care who see patients that have spent time critically ill in ICU they then move to the ward and then home but paitences can end up with a lot of anxieties, worries, stresses and hallucinations as well as other difficulites so they meet they ICU sisters in a clinic who are there to chat to them and refer them on to other professionals but they get lots of their questions answered and in this Covid time ICU patients will need it more than ever.
