I've raised £20000 to fund alternative cancer treatments in order to beat stage 4 cancer.

Since June 2020 my husband Muz has been courageously battling cancer. Unfortunately, we were told earlier this year that the cancer had spread to his pertinoneum. The cancer had progressed to stage 4 and he has a rare type of tumors called signet ring cells and without intervention he would have 12 months to live. He's undergone 6 months of chemotherapy but unfortunately it has spread and most recently to his spine. This has to be closely monitored as the tumor could begin to press onto his spinal cord. This is classed as a medical emergency and may lead to paralysis if interventions aren't put in place swiftly. We have put endless hours and sleepless nights into researching alternative treatments and we were funding these ourselves until recently. However, the treatments are expensive and not currently available on the NHS and this is where we need your help! From the research we have done we are very hopeful that they can and will work. Right now, how long we will have to continue with these for, we do not know. But we have to continue and we have to continue to hit the cancer hard. For us, we feel this is the best route to getting this awful disease under control. We have our fingers and toes tightly crossed there is a way forward from this, with your help it may be possible. If you donate, I want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU! You really are making a difference to someone's life...literally! We'd like to give something back, that's very important to us. If you know someone who is currently suffering from this awful disease, please, please get in touch with us we may have advice that could help. We have nothing to lose so we are giving everything and anything a shot. Keep us in your prayers, sending you all peace and love from both Muz and myself.
