Story

I am setting up this page to try to help a mum who is in poor health, her son who is partially blind and their beautiful dog TJ who are currently homeless and sleeping in a tent in Merstham.

I met them during the summer when I read their story in the paper and took some food etc to them couple of times.

I thought they had been rehomed only to discover that they had actually been moved on as they were camping on SCC land. Having been forced to pack up their belongings and pitch their tent elsewhere, they have now been served notice again to move on before 31st December 2018.

The tent is damaged, the weather is wet and incredibly cold and only going to get worse through the winter and is seems thy cannot get housed unless they are either separated or rehome the dog (whom they have had since a pup and he is now 10) who they absolutely adore and who adores them equally.

It seems that their only option is to find a private rental which with no job, with a pet and the fact that they were evicted from a previous property is going to be incredibly hard if not impossible.

They have been lovely to us every time we have seen them and they have been so grateful for any help that we have given them.

Please could I ask for your help so that we can try to find them accommodation if only through the winter months. Any amount, however small would be hugely appreciated. No-one should be in this situation.

Thank you so much xxxx
