Weʼve raised £20 to help a burns victim from Aleppo receive urgent medical treatment

    Story

We are trying to raise money to help a 5 year old boy from Aleppo, Ibrahim, who is in need of urgent medical treatment.
He sustained serious burns during airstrikes on Aleppo at the end of Ramadan. His mother had been cooking dinner when an explosion occurred and the oil she was cooking with tipped out of the pan and onto his head and face. The family fled to Jordan and are seeking medical treatment for Ibrahim there.

Ibrahim has 3rd degree burns to 70% of his face and scull, resulting in a deformation of skin, bones and muscle. He has spent 3 weeks and 3 days in hospital, which was as much as the money which was raised for him previously could pay for but, still sufficient time to get the initial infection under control. For two of those weeks Ibrahim was in the ICU in an isolation tent.

After that he was released and sent home on the condition he was kept isolation to prevent an infection returning. Ibrahim still needs 2 more weeks in a tent (sterile environment) and then multiple plastic surgeries. If he doesn't get further treatment soon, the infection will return and of course he will be deformed if he doesn't get the plastic surgeries.

Your donation could save a young boy's life!

It is sad to see there aren't any donations given (yet) to try and help this badly injured little boy. I hope my contribution helps in some small way and encourages others to do the same.
