Story
This year the steam rally day will take place on Saturday 10th June and we hope to raise funds towards the Hope Valley College CRY testing fund along with covering a small cost for the day.
Hope Valley college have made a commitment every year to their students, to invite their year 11 cohort to be tested by the CRY testing team (Cardiac Risk in the Young) for most cardiac abnormalities that my be undiagnosed. Each screening costs the College £5000.00.
This is a cause which has touched the hearts of many people locally. The organisers of the Steam Rally and many of the people involved have strong links to our local community and in particular Hope Valley College. Many of the young people who take part in this day have been effected by the loss of close friends and raising money to support our local community is an amazing way to show our love and support for the Hope Valley.
The Plan for the Day!
11.30am - The Anchor - Tideswell = Extra parking in the field behind the Anchor - Food available.
12.30am - The Queen Ann, Great Hucklow =
13.30 - Blind Bull, Little Hucklow =
15.00 - The Travellers Rest, Brough =
16.00 - The Old Hall, Hope = Food will be available.
18.00 - Castleton - THE FINISH! = Food, music and the chance to take a closer look at the vehicles involved in the day and meet their owners. There wont be a bar in the field so please bring your own refreshments! Remember your sturdy boots for the tug of war again!!!
Please feel free to join us at any stage through out the day and bring your vintage vehicle or join us on one of the trailers pulled by one of the engines. You MAY even get the chance to take the wheel of one of the engines taking part.
You are very welcome to pitch a tent, pull up a living van or a campervan and stay over in the field in Castleton.

Please come along and enjoy the day and if you feel you could donate to the fantastic local cause please do. We look forward to seeing you!
Revised location for the end of day celebrations below. Just at the bottom of the Winnats Pass in Castleton.

The steam rally is in its third year now and we welcome anyone to come along and join us in their vintage vehicles. The day will start at the Anchor in Tideswell and follow a set route finishing at Castleton for an evening of music and celebration of all things steam and vintage.
