We are coming together as a school community to remember and celebrate John, a much-loved reading volunteer at Paddock Junior, Infant and Nursery School.

John dedicated over 13 years of service to our children, offering his time, kindness and encouragement to support early reading and inspire a love of learning. His presence made a lasting impact on pupils, staff and families alike, and he will be deeply missed.

To honour his memory, we are holding a sponsored Rainbow Run at Greenhead Park. The event reflects the joy, positivity and community spirit John brought into our school every day.

We are raising funds for a charity chosen by John’s family (to be confirmed). Every donation will help us continue his legacy of kindness and support beyond our school community.
