I've raised £500 to Support Willow House

On February 19th 2021, we lost Rik after a very long battle with his mental health issues. We are utterly heartbroken that he felt he could no longer stay.
Rik was diagnosed with Pure O, a form of OCD which is characterised by intrusive thoughts, mental rituals and physical compulsions. He silently lived with this condition for most of his teenage and adult life until being treated in 2018.
We have been asked by family and friends if we would like donations towards the funeral or flowers, but we would like to raise money to help others struggling with their mental health instead.
In late 2019, Rik stayed at a residential therapy rehab centre called Willow House. During his time there, the staff worked closely with Rik to understand his mental health issues, provide the correct therapies to treat his condition and devise coping strategies with him.
The difference this made to Rik’s life and his ability to cope was vastly improved and we all saw a difference in him. His time at Willow House was invaluable and provided Rik with a fresh start.
We are eternally grateful to the staff at Willow House for guiding Rik and essentially giving us that extra bit of time with him. We are aiming to raise money to go towards paying for the staff, therapies, or any equipment required in the house itself.
Thank You.
