Story

As most of you will know I have two Grandsons with additional needs. This is my grandson Louie who's 2. Louie has complex needs. He is on the pathways for an ASD diagnosis, has massive sensory needs, non verbal, GDD (currently at the developmental age of a 6 month old), unable to eat so still solely depend on bottle feeding and also has Hypotonia (low muscle tone) which means Louie cannot yet bare weight on his feet, cannot stand/walk etc, testing is being carried out to find a genetic fault for the cause his issues but it'll be a long road until we find any answers.

Louie isn't able to be referred to wheelchair services for a disability pushchair until he is 3 years old (10 months away) as he still fits in a standard buggy but due to his sensory issues and frustrations Louie has become a danger in his current pram resulted in multiple injuries from the metal bars so needs a buggy with more support and more padded which he will also need in years to come as it's unlikely he will walk any time soon and once he can will fatigue easily due to his Hypotonia. So we are hoping to raise enough funds to provide Louie with what he needs after recently folking out £900 on a safety bed as funding for it was taking far to long and Louie had outgrown his travel cot as he was removed from a standard wooden cot at 10m old for the same safety reasons as his pram.
