A big thank you to everyone who took the time to read this story, my e mail and previous" just giving page"which I set up last month.
With the donation of one other friend and myself, we got the 900€ needed for Modesta's mastectomy within one hour of posting the request.
At that time I told everyone that we had the target, forgetting that Modesta would need more money to have her Chemotherapy.
Speed to get the money to her for the operation was essential.
Modesta had her mastectomy. We knew she would need more treatments but up to now she had not found out what that would entail or costs. She had too much else to worry about.
She has now been told she will need 6 months of treatments but they can not give her an idea of costs. So that is why I have set up another page for her.
A big thank you to those who donated money to the fund, we have £470 from the original 2 pages which I have sent to her. This has gone towards her bone scan and the start of the chemo therapy.
I know many of you give to many other causes so if your budget is used up for this year that is fine , but if you have a few euros that would be great. If you can't please can you share this page.
Constantine , Modesta and family are all so grateful for your help.
They have found it hard to ask for help, but have no other options open to them. They are very religious and will keep you in their prayers.
