Story
The East Cleveland community basketball club has just celebrated a remarkable milestone: our first year of delivering engaging sessions to our junior members. This journey has not only fostered a love for the game but has also seen our club grow substantially in numbers. We are proud to stand as one of the leading providers of much-needed HAF sessions in the Cleveland area.
As we look ahead, our ambitions soar even higher. This year, we aim to provide competitive basketball opportunities for all by entering five teams into the Durham league: U12s, U14s, U16s, men's division 1, and men's division 2. However, with these aspirations come substantial costs that we must address together.
To support this vision, on 30th August 2025 members and their families across the club are embarking on an inspiring sponsored walk from Whitby to Saltburn along the scenic Cleveland Way—a challenging trek of roughly 18 miles! This endeavor will help us raise vital funds to subsidise the costs of club events and cover our subscription for Veo software, which is essential for recording and enhancing our training sessions and competitive play.
We invite you to join us in this journey. Your generous support can make a significant difference as we strive to reach our target of £750. Together, let’s empower our young athletes and ensure they have access to the resources they need to thrive both on and off the court.
