Story

Please support Sarah in raising money to pay for a visa, so she can get to see her daughters.

Sarah explains her visa situation:

We petitioned for me to be able to apply for a visa last October. The cost was $525. At the time we were unable to come up with the money for the 'Adjustment of Status' which is $1100. To enable me to leave the country and come back, I need the Adjustment of Status, a medical, a fee for the Affidavit of Support and the work permit. All total approximately $2500.
If I leave the US now and tried to get back in, I would be considered to have overstayed and would be banned from the US for 10 years. Those who know me personally will know what affect this would have on my husband. If I go back to the UK, I would not be able to work because I am half way through the visa process in the US. I believe also that I would not have a right to the NHS, benefits or be able to finish my education (I just got notification that I have failed because of everything that has been going on).

Consequently I have not seen my two beautiful little girls in just over a year. 365 mornings without cuddles from Mummy. 365 missing "I love you"s. 365 days of being extremely proud and telling them how special they are and how I am lucky that I am their mother missing. 365 nights of them sneaking in my bed missing. 365 days of not having control of my TV and watching 'My Little Pony' with popcorn and sweets. 365 days of wiping their tears away when they need me missing. 1 birthday missing, 1 Christmas morning missing. I am truly lost without my little girls and they are truly lost without me.
