On the 27th April, I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for patients and families living with Pulmonary Fibrosis in Wigan and Leigh. As a Palliative Care Nurse Specialist for the last 11 years, our team have been privileged to look after many patients living with life limiting conditions including all Instititial Lung Diseases like Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is a condition that is misunderstood and unheard of. The impact this condition has on patients and their loved ones is life changing. I want to donate the money I raise to the Wigan Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group which we are part of helping people in need.
