We are raising money to fund a covered outdoor learning area for the children at Mayfield Primary School. This will enable children to take their learning outside all year round whatever the weather. Research shows that children finding learning outdoors makes lessons more enjoyable and that children feel happier and healthier.
Four members of the Mayfield staff are undertaking a self-funded challenging 50 mile walk of the South Downs Way in the summer holidays and would be delighted to sponsored for their endeavours.
