This summer I have been given the amazing opportunity to return to Zambia in the role of Project Manager, overseeing the Volunteer Zambia project.

This project aims to make a difference to the life of young Zambian people through the power of sport, education and leadership. Since 2006, students from the Wallace Group Universities have worked in partnership with Zambian NGO Sport in Action to provide opportunities for communities across Lusaka.

Throughout the 4 months of the project, I will be working alongside Sport In Action to facilitate sporting opportunties for young people and supporting the UK volunteers taking part in the project. The power of sport as a catalyst for change in in these communities is truly inspirational and I'm delighted to have been offered the chance to contribute to the development of this project.
