Story

Breast cancer and life after.....

Every year around 11,400 people die from breast cancer in the UK.

BUT............................

Breast cancer survival is improving and has doubled in the last forty years in the UK.

These days nine in 10 women survive breast cancer.

An estimated 691,000 women are alive in the UK after a diagnosis of breast cancer. This is predicted to rise to 840,000 in 2020

We can help improve this figure, together, we can raise vital funds that will go to breast cancer research and by 2050 woman will recover from breast cancer.

So to help raise funds, myself and my great friend Clare, whom I met through Church, we decided together to do 'BRAVE THE SHAVE'

September 25TH 2018 at 7pm we are having our hair cut off and donating to the 'LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST' over 40 inches of hair will be made into real wigs for children who are sadly going through cancer treatment, the rest we are shaving off......

We are supported by the local pub the 'Castle Inn' who is hosting the event, breast cancer care, 2 hairdressers, friends, family, children and partners, and local business who are donating raffle prizes in the night,

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER, PLEASE SUPPORT US.
