I was diagnosed with breast cancer on the 15th August this year. Ive since had biopsies and a lumpectomy. Im awaiting my radiotherapy and praying i won't need a further op or chemo.

I have a wonderful 17 year old daughter who has taken this in her stride and provided immense support. Im also blessed with 2 amazing step children.

We've had a few years of stress after my husband was disgnosed with prostate cancer in April 2014. After having his prostate removed hes still under 6 monthly appointments but is a star.

The day before my diagnosis my lovely father in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer which has spread to his bones. All in all a rubbish month.

I am upbeat and positive, determined to kick ass and beat this. I want to treat my family, have lovely things to look forward to including a holiday with us all and their lovely partners.

I never dreamed of setting up a page like this or asking for money but whilst I'm off work money will be tight. I'm a vice principal at a fab school in my normal pre cancer life.

Its sadly not just me with cancer but my whole family as we are in this together. The whole family is behind me and I want to go wild and spoil them as a thank you for their love and support.
