Story

5,000 Messages of Hope – Join Our Mission for £2.

Every year, 1 in 4 people in England experience a mental health condition, and every week, 1 in 6 struggle with anxiety or depression. These numbers are more than statistics-they are our children, our friends, our neighbours, and sometimes, ourselves.

Our Aim:

We want to unite our community in a wave of hope. We’re asking 5,000 people to each donate £2 and, just as importantly, to share a message of hope or positivity. These messages will be delivered around the world to those who need them: people struggling with their mental health, those feeling isolated, or anyone who could use a reminder that they are not alone. We aim to begin the delivery of them on World Mental Health Day (10th October).

Our Purpose:

We are dedicated to supporting the mental health of those in our community, by providing an effective tool to talk about their worries from a young age. We empower parents, caregivers, medical staff and teachers (to name a few) to build everyday strategies that help members of our community feel seen, heard, and supported.

Art VR is a unique therapeutic aid, transporting users to their “happy place” via a virtual reality headset. As well as art therapy and activities, users can interact with comforting avatar like a trusted friend.

Your £2 will help us purchase VR headsets and bring Art VR to local communities, schools, hospitals and their families in the UK and overseas, but your message will do something even more powerful, it will brighten someone’s day, reminding them that a stranger cares.

Our Outcome:

With your help, we will create a ripple of kindness and connection, providing comfort, support, and tools for mental wellbeing to those who need it most.

This technology has been proven at Manchester Foundation Trust, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, with staff stating that they feel calmer, more connected, and better able to cope after using Art VR during stressful shifts. 97% of medical personnel indicated they would recommend Art-VR as a therapeutic aid for patients, reflecting high confidence in its benefits.”

Our Thanks

We are deeply grateful for every £2 donation and every heartfelt message you share. With each gift and every word of hope, you remind someone in our community that they are not alone. Together, we are building a network of kindness and support-one message, one act of generosity, and one caring heart at a time. Thank you for standing with us. Your kindness truly changes lives.

Our Feedback

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital - “Dr Graham Mason, Consultant Paediatric Critical Care and AMD for Quality and Safety and MCS. Patient Safety Speciality, Manchester Foundation Trust: “It is well recognised the huge burden and emotional and moral distress that paediatric critical care staff experience whilst caring for some of the sickest children in the northwest. Staff who have tried out Art VR were extremely positive about the benefits they felt in terms of it supporting their well-being and mental health during busy and stressful shifts. All participants reported positive experiences, with 75% expressing a strong connection to the Art-VR environment and the majority feeling calmer and better after use. 97% of medical personnel indicated they would recommend Art-VR as a therapeutic aid for patients, reflecting high confidence in its benefits.”
