Lauren and her grandmother run Cornpop Critter Rescue in Frome and as a non profit rescue, they work tirelessly every single day in order to give their rescues the best possible chance of survival.

They have rescued and rehabilitated thousands of animals and often go without themselves in order to provide for both wild and and domesticated animals in need.

I personally have often cried at the horror stories Lauren posts when she is trying to rescue an injured animal and it often affects Lauren and her grandmother equally.

This lady does not receive anywhere near as much as she needs to continue and I would like to raise as much as possible for her to carry on with her amazing work.

Lets see if we can raise at least £500 between us for this great cause. My 10k run will take place at the end of January. For anyone who knows me, I have not run more than 2k in about a decade so this will be no mean feat.
