Story

Nearly 4 years ago I lost my job and my independence due to a condition I now know as NEADS (non epileptic attack disorder). I suffer blackouts and seizures, some bad some mild. I can't Cook alone or bath alone, things that I now realise I took for granted. I haven't been able to leave the house alone and for people who know me will tell you how independent I was before all this. I suffer from memory loss and can ask people the same question over and over. I have been taken to hospital on a few occasions where even some medical staff have no understanding of NEAD . I have long term damage to my neck and base of head, my back gets worse with every episode I have. I have taken shop displays down and fallen down stairs. I have blacked out in streets and thankfully my partner, son and friends make me safe.
I want to raise awareness because this can actually happen to anyone of you.
The money I raise will be given to the UCLH hospital in Queen Square London where I have been undergoing my treatment for the last 2 years.
Walking the o2 is something that is not much to some but to me it a massive step forward .
