I've raised £3000 to support Sarah's boys

On Monday 1st July 2019 Sarah was involved in a car accident with her newborn (Rafael). Miraculously baby Raffa came away from the collision unharmed but unfortunately our friend Sarah was left fighting for her life in hospital. Sarah is badly bruised, with broken bones and a bleed on her brain.
Sarah's husband and sister have been doing a fantastic job caring for Wilbur (2 years) and Rafael (2 months). Ben is juggling childcare, cleaning and extra cuddles between hospital visits and we feel that any extra financial support would be of great use.
A MESSAGE FROM SARAH...
I'm sorry for the delay in writing this and for anyone who hasn't received a message already, to thank them. A few people were anonymous and I would have liked to have thanked them too. As you can imagine its been a horrible unexpected event and one of which meant I was away from my family at a time when my then newborn needed me most. My toddler and husband were both amazing at coping and this page definitely made things easier and we appreciate everyone who donated. I can't remember most of my hospital stay (due to the severity of my condition and with the prognosis, I feel this is probably a good thing) but I do remember being told about this justgiving page and being emotional. I do remember having a little cry on the ward when I realised how much people had cared about me and my boys. The donations have been used to allow extra childcare for the boys upon discharge as this was adviced my consultant to help with my recovery. I have looked through all the kind messages you sent and some of the people I remember from friendship years ago. It brought back some lovely memories, which felt very nice as my memory was affected by the nasty injury. From the bottom of my heart and from
Ben, Wilbur and Rafael I will always be grateful. The thought of this and the care people showed me will be one of the nicest things to come out of one of the scariest events ever. Much love to you all x
