Story

On Tuesday 23rd April my loving family members - namely mum, dad and sister - walked a marathon (26.2 miles) in support of my trip to Kambui this summer. (Sadly I couldn't do it myself after a slower than expected recovery after hip surgery.)

From June 23rd until July 6th 2019 I'm heading out to Kambui, Kenya as part of a joint team from my church, Gardenmore Presbyterian and Drogheda Presbyterian Church. This mission trip has run for 9 years, completing different projects in Kambui, where all the children suffer from different physical and mental disabilities.

This year, both churches have to raise a collective £22,000 (£11,000 each) to fund our main task which is to complete the building of a girls dormitory which will make a big difference in their daily lives. We will also be running a kids club during the week and hope to provide the children with school supplies, something that is much needed.

Any donation that you can spare will be greatly appreciated, with all money going directly towards our work out in Kambui - none of it will fund me personally.

Thank you so much!!
