Story

My nanna and grandad met at the age of 14, they are now 85. Unfortunately they have both been victims of alzheimer's and dementia. In their younger years they loved holidays to places like Great Yarmouth and Isle of Wight. They love eachother unconditionally and even with a memory destroying illness their love is evident. They are now being cared for in an amazing home and looked after by incredible carers. Throughout the epidemic the carers have kept all of the residents safe, entertained and most of all smiling. Like many others I have not been able to hug my grandparents since March 2020. I want to give back to the care home and raise money for trips (when possible), entertainment and activites to help keep all of the residents smiling. Donations will be split 50/50 with Alzheimers Research Uk. I will be climbing Mount Snowdon in 2021 (timing covid dependent).
