Sark is a beautiful and unique island in the Channel Islands. It is largely dependent on tourism which has, for obvious reasons, been shut down. No hotels, no B&Bs, no activities, - and, for most, no income. The economy is at a very low level all round. Those who love Sark will want to help.

The Sark Government has set up a Sark Hardship Fund to be administered by the Sark Procureurs. The purpose of this fund is to give the Sark Procureurs the means by which to administer support for those most in need during these difficult times. Do please give direct if you prefer and/or wish to avoid fees - there is a link to information on the fund on the Sark Govenment site. (Locals and residents, please give direct to the Sark Treasurer.)

As you may know, Sark receives no external funding or help from anyone. None of the hundreds of millions being spent on the various economic programs of the UK government to help during this crisis will get to Sark.

This Just Giving page has been setup with the kind permission of the Sark Treasurer and the P&F Committee as an initiative to get the word out and, hopefully, make it easier for the myriad of Sark friends & relations around the world to contribute. It is a personal page on the advice of Just Giving as the SHF is not a UK Registered Charity.
