Save our seized dogs - putting BSL to sleep .

Save Our Seized Dogs are a not for profit organization ,they assist owners of seized dogs in the UK. They offer advice and help to owners of dogs, who have been seized by the authorities under Breed Specific Legislation (BSL), 82% of dogs seized in the UK have never caused harm or fear to anyone. These dogs are just ordinary family pets.

Some dogs seized by police have been in kennels for years for nothing other than the fact they are “suspected” pit bull type.

BSL is very flawed and many bully breeds can be affected by the legislation simply for just being alive and looking a certain way.

It can sometimes cost thousands for people who have had their dogs seized to get their dogs back and this charity help those people with costs and take no profit .

As the types of dogs are close to my heart I would like to raise money for them to help.

Owners are often faced with bills, sometimes amounting to thousands of £'s to get their gentle, loving dogs returned.

The charity run auctions, raffles and general fundraisers in order to assist these owners in their fight to have their family dog back home.

It’s a small charity and I’m sure they are so facing pressures from covid -19 ( like us all ) so I think every little helps at this time.

I also see the beautiful charachter in these dogs with every photo of each dog that needs help , they all have a story and deserve a chance and a happy life.

How donations will be used

If you visit the charity page you can see each dogs case and requirements that they are trying to help - it will go towards kennel bills ,legal assistance , court costs etc
