I'm raising money because, on 27th April 2025, I’ll be running the London Marathon for the third time. While I have a free place and could run purely for the personal challenge, I want to use this opportunity to support two causes that mean a great deal to me—one that supports a great friend and another that brings joy to my local community.

The first is The Brain Tumour Charity, which has been nominated by my great friend James Cork. Many of you will know James as the frontman of the band, Under The Wood, where he continues to bring incredible Americana-inspired performances to the stage. Since being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2023, James has faced every challenge with unwavering positivity, refusing to let his illness define him. His strength and determination are truly inspiring, and knowing that each step I take in the 26.2-mile marathon will help support people like James makes this run even more meaningful.

The second cause is Sittingbourne Carnival 2025, a fantastic event that brings life, colour and community spirit to Sittingbourne & Milton Regis. The carnival is a true celebration of local talent, bringing people together and creating lasting memories. By raising funds, I hope to help ensure this tradition continues to thrive in 2025 and beyond.
