Story

During lockdown our family has been fortunate to be able to communicate with our mum who resides in a care home, using the technology available. FaceTime has given us the opportunity to see her, and perhaps more importantly, mum seeing us, giving her the connection and reassurance that she has not been forgotten during this pandemic. However, there are care homes where this technology is not available and residents will have gone weeks without seeing their nearest and dearest. I am not a doctor, nurse, paramedic or carer who's immense contribution has often gone beyond the call of duty when caring for the coronavirus victims during this time. However, I feel like I want to contribute in some small way and decided to use all this spare time (my work as a live entertainer has completely evaporated!) to employ my own debatable talents to produce something to entertain you, and hopefully raise some money to help fund an iPad(s) for a needy residence or residences depending on how it goes! I am not a musician or a singer but I love to do both and have taken to writing and recording completely pointless songs for my own amusement. "Sausages" was one such song! if you enjoyed the experience, perhaps you would like to contribute towards my target.....thank you
