PLEASE HELP CHICA THE 11 WEEK OLD CHIHUAHUA

We have set up this crowd funding page to support our sisters 11 week old puppy. Chica the chihuahua needs critical care in an animal hospital again but Andrea is unable to afford anymore treatment for her as current cost have mounted to £4,400 already. £4,000 was covered by the insurance but that is the limit for Chica’s cover. The vets and nurses at Vets4Pets (Perth) in Pets At Home have volunteered to provide critical care during the night at their own homes for Chica to help her stay alive but she really needs hospital treatment. Andrea provided critical care for Chica last night but she would struggle to do this nightly for Chica and we can’t thank the staff at Vets4Pets in Pets At Home enough for offering their generous support.

Chica tested positive for coccidia (a parasite that lives in the intestines) This can be a life threatening illness for some puppies. Chica was well when she went to her new home but the parasite was present and she started having sickness and diarreha after 5 days, because of the sickness and diarrhea this led to hypoglycaemia, dehydration and weight loss.

We hoped that we can raise some funds to give Chica the best chance of survival. If you can donate even £1 we would be extremely grateful.
