My dog Kyzer who is the most loving, caring, friendly and playful dog. A family pet that we are so close to. On the 12/12/17 at around 1.30pm he escaped out off my garden and was found a road away from my house. A lovely woman called Becky who found him kept him with her and called the dog warden and handed him over in good faith thinking he would be reunited with his rightful owner within 7 days if they could be found, the warden reassured her that Khyzer would be taken to Birmingham dogs home. After spending most off the afternoon/evening looking for him, at 7.30pm my friends son rushed to my house to tell me that he has seen Khyzer on a facebook post which was posted by Becky, saying the dog was handed to the warden and that he is safe and we have nothing to worry about. On the morning of 13/12/17 I started ringing up the council, dogs homes, warden, spending the whole day being thrown from pillar to post at 4.45pm I was told by the original warden who took him that he was handed to the police and is in private police kennels due to a concern with his breed Even though he was'nt violent towards anyone. He is a Pitt bull, I brought him in good faith thinking he was a Staffie so upon hearing this i was quite suprised. However never the less this has'nt changed the love we have for him. I have now been made aware by the police that in order to get him back i would have to pay for a court application which i would have to comply with, meaning i would have to keep a mussel & lead on him in public places, I would have to have him neutered, chipped, get insurance for him, secure my garden so he doesnt escape again which i have now done And also pay for daily kennel cost whilst he is in their care off £12.60 per day. This news has broken my family apart because he has brought so much joy to us, his fulfilled a gap in our life that i think was made just for him to take. My son who is 7 years old Khyzer is his first ever pet he is so attached to him, he is so upset, he wants him home asap, he keeps asking me an my husband to call up the police an get them to drop him home, he keeps asking after school if Khyzers home But i keep breaking his heart an saying no. Unfortunately the police has given us a time scale of up to 2months to get him back, but a only a few weeks to get the court application sorted, the neutering/chipping/insurance comes afterwoods. The reason I have set this page up is because i dont have all the money to bring

him home and we would be so greatful if you wonderful people out here can help us bring him home. This was the last thing we wanted at this time off year but we really want him home. So please give generously so we can bring our dog back home where he belongs. If we cant raise the money we need, unfortunately the police will destroy him. Thank you foryour time.

This was the photo on facebook which was shared by Becky. She said he was such a delight but he was abit scared to get into her car as she wanted to take him to the vets to see if he was chipped but he was shy and scared.

This is Khyzer with my son who is terribly heartbroken, over time Khyzer became the pet that boosted his confidence and made him so happy.
