I've raised £2800 to Help save Mina's leg!

Mina was rescued to be reunited with her sister after being separated for 3 years, but upon arrival home we soon discovered that Jess & Ian are now faced with the task of trying to save her leg. What should have been a happy, heartwarming reunion of the two sisters is now one of the hardest situations a dog owner has to go through. Mina's sister, Miruna, was rescued off the streets under horrific circumstances, where two men had restrained her and were about to rape her. Fortunately, they were stopped but it still left Miruna traumatised by the experience. She was fostered until Jess & Ian adopted her last year and has grown in confidence around humans. The icing on the cake was when Mina was found and it was decided that she'd be adopted to be reunited with Miruna. However, we have discovered that what was initially thought to be a superficial wound is now much more serious. Within 12 hours of arrival, she was in the vets for emergency assessment because she is unable to use her leg. After receiving two vets' opinions, it is clear that she will need extensive surgery in order to attempt to save her leg, after the vets feel she was trapped hanging by her leg for a considerable length of time, and in the process of trying to free herself, obliterating the ligaments in her knee. As well as the surgery, she will also need lots of rehabilitation and physio/hydrotherapy. As a family, we are committed to devote the time to help her, but we need your help for us to have a chance to be able to give her the opportunity to keep her leg.
Every penny counts, no amount is too small! Please help us to help Mina enjoy a happy life with her long lost sister. Thank you <3
