Story
Park Lane stables RDA (Riding for the Disabled) is an important part of the Teddington community which offers riding for children and adults with or without disability. The stables provide much needed happiness and therapy for everyone and allows people to escape the stress of daily life.

However, the landlord has said he will not be renewing the lease which ends on 31 May 2021 as he wishes to sell the property. He is giving Park Lane the first chance to buy the stables, for which Park Lane urgently needs to raise £1 million (yes it’s a lot of money). If we can raise this amount of money, Park Lane stables will be 100% owned by the registered charity Park Lane Stables RDA 1161306 and therefore the community. This would mean in the future, money the stables have saved from the cost of the lease will be used to provide more lessons at a subsidised rate and invest in vital therapy equipment. The campaign so far has raised 22% of this amount.
I have really enjoyed riding at Park Lane stables since Ridgway stables in Wimbledon was also forced to close. It would be a big loss to South West London if we lost both. Due to lockdown we can’t do many of the usual things to raise money, but on Monday 15th February, I will be cycling to Richmond Park and will be doing as many kilometres as I can on the Tasmin trail round the park. I will be cycling around 50km. Any money I raise will go towards the crowdfunding campaign. I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me, it doesn’t have to be a lot, remember every little helps!

Please share with anyone else you know who might be willing to sponsor me.
