UK airfields have been under threat for some decades and many have been lost forever. They provide real economic value to local communities and for training pilots and engineers. They are also green spaces whereas housing estates are not! The General Aviation Awareness Council (gaac.org.uk) works hard to help airfields defend themselves against a range of threats but can't do this for much longer without raising around £10000 a year. So we have launched a fund to pay for its work for another year. We hope you can help us meet our goal!
