Story
Chipping Cricket Club have been playing cricket at the Old Hive, Chipping pitch since 1950. In 2011, a developer bought the land and is taking the club to a tribunal in May at the Land Registry where a decision will be made on whether that club has a right to remain at the Old Hive venue. The costs for this latest legal battle with the developer are estimated at £5,000

I have played for Chipping CC since moving to the village in 1998 and have been the Secretary since 2009. I am supporting the clubs fight to remain at the Old Hive venue as it is our duty to ensure cricket can be played by the next generations in the village as we have done.
