Story

This fundraising effort is sponsored in part by Together Aware - Mental Health Blog.

The small town of Cobargo and surrounding villages have been decimated by the Bushfires of New Years Eve 2019. The fire that struck around 06:30 am and burned nearly all day has destroyed hundreds of people’s homes, businesses and livelihoods. The photo above shows the main street before and after the fire struck. 3 people have lost their lives battling to save what they had spent their lives building. Great friends of the community father and son Robert and Patrick Salway; 63 and 29 lost their lives defending their home and the community is reeling from such huge loss.

We are raising money to give what we can to those who most need it right here in Cobargo so that they can begin to slowly regather what they have lost.

Please give generously. The need is great.

Thank you.
