Colchester zoo if facing the threat of closure if coronovirus continues past summer. A huge attraction for both adults and children alike, it is costing £25000 a day just to keep running and that wont be sustainable for long.

I have enjoyed so many family days here with my children and schools often take trips here too it would be a huge and very sad loss to the community if the zoo had to close.

staff have even offered to work for nothing for a month to try and help but think wont solve the problem.

so at a time when the country is coming together without being able to come together lets unite, spare what pennies you can and help save these wonderful animals and community attraction.
