I've raised £16000 to Save Mama Ruth and help a baby know his mother!

At around Jan 2016 Mama Ruth, a Ugandan mother of 3 Sarah (age 10), Maggie (age 7) David (6months), husband (John) and a qualified nurse has been battling a brain tumour for the last 3 years, the first and a half years unknowingly and only found out when she went to see a doctor about her lazy eye. Whilst at the surgery she discovered that she was also pregnant, the doctors asked her what she wanted to do Ruth chose continue with the pregnancy which meant the operation couldn't take place as there was a fear that Ruth would lose the baby and possibly her life in the process. With much discussion and heart searching the family decided to reduce tumour until Ruth could give birth however, by this time the only doctor that was able to perform the surgery had now left Uganda as he had come from America. Mama Ruth's doctors offered an option to gradually reduce the tumour by taking one tablet per day, taking this medication for a prolonged period of time is an extra cost that the family simply can’t afford. With help from family, friends and their local church they raised some money from the community but still the money was not enough and has all been used up. Ruth has not been able to be a mother to her three children let alone be a wife to her husband so please help give Ruth back her life.
Now Mama Ruth has been advised by her doctors to travel to Kenya for treatment, where there are surgeons who can help her, as there are no doctors in Uganda that can carry out this type of surgery.
In total the family have been informed by the Kenyan specialists that the procedure will cost £16,000. This will include admission fees; doctors and anaesthetise fees, hospital stay accommodation for Mama Ruth's husband.
Mama Ruth is a big believer in God so if you are not able to contribute financially then please pray for her.
The tumour continues to grow despite the medicine Mama Ruth is taking every day, and causes huge financial distress on the whole family. The doctors in Kenya are ready and waiting. As soon as we have the money the surgery can take place.
