Our objection team did a fantastic job at yesterday’s SSC meeting. Many hours of preparation went into their presentations. But the refusal result could not have been achieved without your donations. These are vital and have been used to produce materials to raise awareness, and to pay for external advisers. This is not the end of the fight. Protection of our Greenbelt MUST continue and if the MFS application goes to appeal, substantial funds will be required. Therefore, please continue to donate whatever you can. Thank you for your generous donations to date. We are now at a critical point in the campaign. A decision on the MFS planning application is imminent and we need to be ready if that does not go our way. This will require paying for further experts as well as legal advice and representation. The developers are well funded and invested in this process, so even if the application is turned down it is unlikely to be the end of the matter. So, if you can spare some cash, it will be greatly appreciated and wisely spent to protect our Greenbelt.

Thanks to all who attended our first AGM yesterday. The attendees will have heard about the level of funding that will be required if the MFS planning application goes to a public enquiry.
