Since mid 2017 we have been working hard to train survivors of child abuse in safeguarding and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to create positive change. We have also been working hard on an initiative we call 'Excellence in Safeguarding' which allows us to work directly with grassroots sports settings to 'raise the bar' in safeguarding and better protect our young people and adults at risk. We have now created a survivor network of passionate people all ready to engage with clubs and become a 'part of the solution' as opposed to feeling part of the problem. There is a cost to achieving 'Excellence in Safeguarding' and your help on 11/05/19 will be enable to work towards 'closing all paths to abuse' for many more clubs and organisations'.
