Story

The Junction has been running as a live music venue for the past 7 years providing the community with free live music 7 nights a week.

An established home to jazz and culture bringing musicians, young and old from all over the world.

We have been given the devastating news the landlord will not renew our lease.

Although the landlord have not been forthcoming with any information as to why they are closing such a fine establishment, we suspect redevelopment ...yes flats!

This is a disaster, not just for the staff and community, but for the entire Jazz and cultural scene.

But there is hope.

The junction is looking to move to a new site with a 20 year lease and a contract inside the act ensuring longevity.

But we need your help, for the past 7 years our focus has been to bring free live music to the public as a completely independent and grass roots venue. Unlike the sad demise of many venues we withstood the pandemic through the conviction and support of our community. Help us again as we relocate and rebuild a home for live music, community and laughs.
