I've, I moved to a beautiful town in Serbia called Valjevo, and right away I realised what a HUGE problem Serbia and other Balkan countries with stray cats and dogs... 🐶there are HUNDREDS of them. Each adorable little fellow does his best to get along in life but it's rough! Many die in the cold of winter or starve from lack of food.

The local people are wonderful... many help to feed them and adopt when they can (I know a lady with 3 cats, 9 dogs and four kids! 😳) But it's a poor country and they don't have always have the money to neuter them.

In 2012 a law was passed in Serbia that each town is responsible for it's own strays and need to feed them and give them medical attention... this is great!! but the tiny resources the established pounds have are stretched so far that every year, come Feb - May there are tiny kittens and puppies everywhere looking for a bit of food and love. 💔 Many pups remain untagged and uncared for. We need to do something !!

I would like to start a program to raise money to support the local shelter, and to independently via a network of truly awesome non-funded family shelters, re-home as many strays as we can, but most importantly provide healthcare and neutering to as many lovely little creatures as possible. 🙌🏽

We can end this cycle together! ... and meet a lot of furry friends along the way. EVERY DONATION that provides contact details will receive images and videos of the EXACT dog or kitten they helped to save. I'm not expecting this to become hugely popular but if there are too many donations to follow up on... you'll just have to wait a few years to see the little life you helped 😁

This will be completely non-profit. I already have two strays (lol) and have been helping support with money but this is bigger than just me... I need help guys! Take a day a week and spare your second latte for a little second life. 🐕🐈THANK YOU!!
