My fiance and I have been planning our wedding since January 2017. In the last 6 months we have been hit by one financial blow after another, his self-employed business has had no work for 2 months and we have had to pay out for a couple of unexpected but important bills that has wiped out our savings.

Our wedding is at the end of October and we are running out of time to recoup our savings to pay for the venues and catering for our guests. We’ve considered postponing it, but we are so close to the date that we would lose all our deposits and still have to pay cancellation fees for some things.

We only need £2,000 to cover what’s left, everything else we’ve paid for already. I know its not a worthy cause but if 1000 people donated £2 we’d make it to our lovely wedding day that we‘ve worked so hard to save for.
