Story

The saving amy airspeed oxford project which is restoring an original ww2 veteran aircraft in memorial to Amy johnson, who went missing fly one of these aircraft after taking off from blackpool in january 1941, is very close to completing phase one of the restoration by rebuilding the cockpit section . Phase two of the rebuilding will consist of rebuilding Amy's central wingbox structure and engines . We have been very kindly donated a large consignement of spruce by Heritage Trees of henley on thames and a large amount of engine components by Pima Air and Space Museum Arizona USA . We desperatly need funds to start these next phase s of the rebuild Can you help ??
