This charity is for those women who are scared to live in their own homes because of the inhumane ways they are being treated.

Through this charity I want to give back the voice to the countless women who are victims of domestic violence; their voice which was snatched from them because of oppression.

My mother was born in an Pakistani family and she came to England in the early years of her life. At a young age my mother married a man who was 16 years older than her. This man was a misogynist and harboured severe insecurities, which was the main reason why he would beat my mother.

My mother suffered emotional, psychological and moreso physical abuse, and 23 years on since, the wounds of her past haunt her until this day and these scars will be with her forever.

You might ask, why didn't my mother get help? And the main reason was she had no one to go to. Phone lines in her home were cut so she couldn't call the police or emergency services.

After 5 years of abuse, during which time my mother had me and my younger brother, she decided to leave after we (her children) became victims of abuse.

The heart of this project is to help vulnerable women who are victims of violence in Asia and other third world countries where domestic violence runs in the very fabric of society.

Once this projects takes off the aim is to expand, by building safe accommodation for victims and their children. Delivering essential provisions needed for day to day life, and most importantly empowering women to walk towards begining a new life.

To finish, I want to thank my mother for everything, for being my biggest inspiration and motivation. Thank you for always being there when times were the hardest. I will make this a success for you.
