On the 16th January someone took a knife to the campsite and slashed up 8 trailer tents causing £10,000 worth of damage. Unfortunately the tents were only insured for fire and theft so a claim can not be made on the insurance.

These tents house hundreds of holiday makers over the course of the summer who all add vital funds to the economy, which benefits the Island as a whole.

I am therefore asking the people of Alderney and the wider camping community to help replace these tents and get the campsite back up and running, ready for the forth coming summer season
