Story
For 2022 Salisbury Baptist Church with be doing different creative activities to fundraise to support the Alzheimer's society in Salisbury and the Richard Taylor Foundation. As a church we are seeking to become more aware of how dementia affects so many in our community. We are seeking to put on some activities to support those with Alzheimer's/ dementia and those who care for them. We are seeking to partner with and encourage the work of the Alzheimer's society in the city. The Richard Taylor foundation was established by Richards' family following his death in a traffic accident when he was in his mid 20's.The foundation seeks to support projects that were close to Richards heart and things he invested his life in. Richard was part of Pete and Wendy's church in Swansea and they are patrons of the foundation. The foundation supports a number of projects both here in the UK and abroad seeking to help alleviate need among children and those who are caught in poverty and homelessness. It also supports those seeking to go into ministry as Richard had just done. They have supported Dan Chirnside in his journey. They carefully seek out partner projects that can make a significant difference to the lives of those in need. Alongside long standing projects they are currently helping out Ukraine refugees through contacts in Poland. Please join us if you are able to give towards these two great causes as we seek to raise £2022 during 2022.
