We are Stand & Be Counted; the UK's first Theatre Company of Sanctuary, committed to making exciting and empowering live and digital theatre with people seeking sanctuary (refugees, asylum seekers and new migrants) of all ages.

Becoming a charity is a HUGE moment for us and will mean we can support our brilliant participants and artists far better moving forward. To celebrate we want to throw a party for our brilliant Youth Theatre of Sanctuary and publish a series of artworks made by them. These masterpieces will be available as Thank You cards, to commemorate how grateful we are for the support we have had over the past 12 years.

Our co-founders Rosie MacPherson and John Tomlinson will be running the Manchester Half marathon on 9th October 2022, to mark this momentous occasion, please sponsor them to help us achieve our goal - they are NOT AT ALL prepared for the race but are certainly ready for our NEXT 12 YEARS!
