A sponsored hike to raise funds towards employing a priest at Veda Mandir Bolton.

Veda Mandir has been the power house of the Bolton community since the 1970s. A major refurbishment project began during the COVID-19 pandemic which transformed the appearance of the temple. Our sponsored hike of Snowdon in 2022 raised funds allowing the temple’s kitchen to be made functional once again.

This year, we will be doing a sponsored hike of Scafell Pike. Funds will be put towards employing a priest for Veda Mandir, allowing regular religious activities to be conducted as per Hindu scriptures. This is a key agenda of the Veda Mandir committee.
