Following recent meetings involving the club executive, senior players, and full committee; we are now able to announce that we intend to begin a full refurbishment of the changing rooms as soon as the season ends in mid-September.

Improvements will include:

· A complete refit of the changing facilities

· Extension of the changing rooms to incorporate the balcony areas

· Installation of glass sliding doors and balustrades

· Complete new shower/wet room areas

· Vastly improved female changing facilities

· Improved umpires changing rooms

· An electronic scoreboard

· New scorers’ facility

· Vastly improved energy efficiency

The whole project has been costed at somewhere in the region of £70,000 – this money will be raised from various sources, but we will work tirelessly to keep the costs within our budget.

There will be numerous fund-raising efforts taking place and we would love you to be part of this exciting new development for Scholes Cricket Club. We really do want to make our facilities the best that they can be so as to secure the future of our club for generations to come.

The plans have been approved by KMC Planning and are on view in the clubhouse; any ideas regarding the plans, fundraising, or help will be very much appreciated, please do not hesitate to contact any of the committee to discuss.

Any donations of £100.00 or more will secure your own personal brick with your name or message on.
